POSTING POLICY FOR CAMPUS-RELATED MESSAGES

Requests to have an event featured on the Sacramento State Digital Sign Message Board must be submitted to Public Affairs using the Digital Sign Submission Form or by sending an e-mail to digisign@csus.edu. Your request must be submitted at least three weeks before the event. Approvals are granted at the discretion of the Public Affairs office.

Submission Policy
To be featured on the Digital Communication Sign, events must meet the following criteria:

• Be of broad community interest
• Must be campus-sponsored rather than campus-hosted
• Be non-political

Priority will be given to:

• Events that have academic applications, such as college-based lectures, performances and exhibits as opposed to purely entertainment-based
• Events that would benefit from audience generation, such as those where tickets are sold through the Sacramento State Ticket Office
• Events that support the campus strategic plan, such as recruitment messages

Approved submissions will be edited by Public Affairs and will be displayed on a space-available basis. Public Affairs will make the final decision on each message, so please be sure the most pertinent information is included in your request. Because of the nature of digital signs, each message must be limited to 10 words, including “Sacramento State” and the URL.
